See, I told ya

When I checked my inbox yesterday afternoon, I had six e-mails about details for the holiday market.
:::
oops
Do you seen what I mean?
Coffee makes me spastic!
:::
Just like me to tell you about the market, but not let you know where and when! I also may or may not have put a batch of brownies in the oven without turning it on this morning or run a load of water (just water!) in my washing machine last night.
:)

The market will be held from 3:30 - 6:00 pm
Thursday, December 8th
at Lexington High School
in the "Learning Commons"
(which was known as the LIBRARY back in the day for all of you old-school LHSers like myself)

And yes I will have dolls!
There have been several inquires into if there will be some dolls for sell and the answer is a resounding YES!

show

dolls, aprons, earrings, covered notebooks, kindle covers,
more aprons, and tea towels!

aaa

This is what I made for Anna Cate's teacher gifts and they really are cute. I did go a little overboard with them though and have way more tea towels than anything else.

This is my first time at this market and I have no idea what to expect! I do know Meg will also be there with some cute goodies, and as she put it yesterday:

I really didn't know (and still don't) whatI was getting into when signing up for a craftfair that was 2 weeks away.

:)
(you and me both girl!)

But if you are local, please stop by to say hi and do some holiday shopping!

  4. Mary Catherine,

    I purchased several dolls from you two years ago. I don't live nearby to attend the holiday market but I would love to purchase another doll for my new niece. Will you email me at allison@18stonedesign.com? Thanks!

  5. I will not be able to attend the market this afternoon at LHS. Would you be selling any of your items that may be left over after the market?

    I read and love your blog! I graduated from LHS in 2000. I started sewing a little over 2 years ago when my niece was born. Your blog is such and inspiration for me to try new things. I made one of your dresses last Easter and I am currently trying to learn to applique. Thank you for documenting your sewing ideas. It's very encouraging.

    Thank you,
    Rachel Price

  6. Mary Catherine, I don't know you personally, but have been reading your blog for a while! JUST LOVE it all! I'm SO sad I haven't been able to come to a sewing "party" yet of yours. I went to PC and graduated in 2002. I finally have a little girl and would LOVE to purchase one of your dolls. are there any left??? please let me know!

  7. Hi Meredith!
    Thanks for your sweet comment! I have sold out of dolls from this batch, but plan on making some more soon. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to have them ready in time for Christmas, but they make sweet Valentine's day gifts too. Hopefully they'll be ready mid January! :)
